Comments (-1) Free Internet for eligible families The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has announced a K-12 Internet Access Program and we invite our families who qualify for this support to apply. Reliable connectivity in remote learning is key and in partnership with OSPI, Everett Public Schools can connect qualifying families to local internet providers including Comcast/Xfinity, Presidio and Ziply. Comments (-1) Transitional Kindergarten registration Transitional Kindergarten is for children who are not currently in an early learning program and are scheduled to begin kindergarten in the fall of 2021. This program will focus on foundational academic, social and self-help skills to jumpstart qualifying students toward success in school. Click to learn more. Comments (-1) Stage 2 Learning Status & Technology updates We have a brief update for Stage 2 Learning Model Status which brings developmental Pre-K, Developmental Kindergarten, Life Skills and STRIVE students back into the school buildings. At this time, the return for these students is still pending. The district will continue to update you as dates become final. We also have several technology updates including updating student passwords, Zoom external authentication requirements and updating student information in Home Access Center (HAC). Comments (-1) CRC building hours update Due to the renewed focus on safety and the increase in remote work, the Community Resource Center is open Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., except for breaks (10-10:15 a.m. & 3-3:15 p.m.) and lunch (12:30-1:30 p.m). The building front doors will be locked during the lunch hour and morning and afternoon breaks for safety purposes. Comments (-1) Important Family Update The district would like to share the difficult decision the board and superintendent have made to remain in full remote learning until January 11, at which time we will begin bringing our youngest students back if health conditions allow.
